John Kreymer, PsyD, ABPP
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Kreymer has been a licensed psychologist since 1999, and prior to that he was a Licensed Professional Counselor for several years, so he has over 20 years of experience working with patients. He is currently a licensed psychologist in Missouri, Louisiana, and Arkansas, and he maintains hospital and office based psychology practices.
Dr. Kreymer practices in areas to include psychological and neuropsychological assessment, risk assessment/psychosexual evaluation, psychological test consulting, and individual and group based interventions.
He sees patients age 6 and up with:
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Health and nervous system conditions
  • Chronic pain
  • Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Behavior disorders
Dr. Kreymer works with general psychotherapy techniques to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt and Systems Theory Systems applications.
He is one of the few psychologists in the area to utilize biofeedback, neurofeedback, and Alpha Stim in his practice.
Dr. Kreymer holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Texas A&M University, a Master’s of Science degree in Psychometrics/Clinical Psychology from the University of Louisiana, a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology degree (with a specialization in Neuropsychology) from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology, and a Post-Doctoral Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Psychopharmacology from the California School of Professional Psychology/Alliant International University (San Francisco). Dr. Kreymer is Board Certified in Clinical Health Psychology (ABPP), a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Health Psychology (FACHP), and is a registered health service provider through the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
Dr. Kreymer works with hospital and outpatient clients. Dr. Kreymer has consulted for inpatient hospitals, correctional centers, charities, agencies to include the United States Department of State, the U.S. Military, State agencies in Missouri and Louisiana, various religious agencies, and works with Foster Care advocacy. Dr. Kreymer is a former board member of the Missouri Brain Injury Association. Current professional memberships include: the Society for Personality Assessment, the Missouri Psychological Association (with committee assignments), the National Register of Health Service Providers, and the American Board of Professional Psychology.
